About Us

FPA seeks to return representation, power and freedom to the individual citizen.

Very simply, Founders Party of America is for Americans who want real representation in congress.  With the passage of time we have come to realize that we have no real representation.  We vote for and send our men and women to congress, based on what they tell us that they and their party intend to pass as legislation. Instead, what we get is an entrenched, controlling element of both major political parties which ignores the people, directing legislation to be passed in favor of their agenda.   Legislation that is passed in congress puts the interests of those controlling elements — global big businesses and multi-national elites — ahead of the people.  Meanwhile, due to the rules of both houses of congress, a mere handful of party bosses in congress make all the key decisions, requiring their fellow party members in congress to follow suit.  Those in party leadership then make excuses to their electorate while the press covers for them by making it appear that they are truly making a good fight of it, one party against the other.  That is pure falsehood.

It’s hard to lose when you are the majority, yet time and again Republicans lose those battles.  Conversely, it’s hard to win when you’re a minority, but we continue to see Democrat congressional minorities emerge as the victor.  The Left wins either way.  Something isn’t right.   Our opinions count for nothing; calls to our representatives and senators fall on deaf ears.  They seek our votes, but following the elections the message is clearly “please go away until the next election cycle.”  They’re not interested in serving their electorate in policy matters.

Keeping Lobbies Out of the Process

Along with our civil liberties, the individual is lost in this progression.  Our nation’s founding was concerned solely with the individual, not groups, classes or “masses”.  The FPA is set up structurally so that special interests or lobbies are unable to sway our party members in office.  In that way, and only in that way we believe, can control of our government be returned to the people.  In that way, we believe that we can return public policy to the meaning and precepts of our Declaration of Independence within the constraints of our constitution.  In that way, we believe that we can begin to turn the United States back to its founding roots.  In that way, we believe that we can place people in Washington who are truly accountable to the statements that they make and to their party’s written platform and legislative agenda.  We believe that our members of congress should be “volunteers”, not careerists looking to stay forever, lining their pockets, working for their corporate cronies and setting up family political dynasties. The FPA’s aim is to initiate a return of the US government to a body governed by the people for the people.  Check out “A New Party Concept” for an explanation of that formula.

FPA feels compelled to make the following additional notes describing who we are and what our party stands for.  We’ve seen how the partisan press smears those who stand against their political agenda.  In anticipation of their usual slurs, lies and omissions, please note the following:

Who We Are

FPA was founded by and for Americans who believe in the US Constitution and the meaning of the words therein.  We believe that the government is for each individual US citizen, not for faceless “masses”.  The idea behind the United States is that each of us should have the freedom to determine his or her own course in life.  Each of us should be equal under the laws of the land.  Each of us should have a say in what those laws should be, to the extent that those laws never obstruct the freedoms which enable our self-determination.  Those ideas embodied in the constitution created a nation which is envy of the world.

FPA is for every individual.  We do not recognize “protected classes”, races, genders or sexual preferences.  We recognize no class at all for we are all equal in law.  The other pages on this website describe in more detail what we are about.

Who We Are Not

Over the years and increasingly, we have seen that when the Establishment is challenged, those who challenge them are vilified in the “mainstream” media, the Establishment’s attack dogs.  That’s hardly surprising.  It’s the Establishment who own the media.

Not Racist

The media will certainly call us “racists”, their favorite pejorative.  It’s what they always do when someone opposes their political wing’s agenda.  As usual, there will be no evidence of racism in anything that we do or espouse nor will our candidates or party administrators discuss it.  Other than for purposes of division or prejudicial treatment, why would anyone recognize race anyway?  Anyone tempted to think that FPA is a party of racists, can read our platform.  They will find no reference to racial preference.  The media won’t present any evidence of FPA racism because there won’t be any, but that won’t stop them. They’ll tell you that’s what we are anyway…but then, you’ve seen that many, many times before, haven’t you?

Not Sexists

Likewise, they’ll probably say that we’re “sexists” or “misogynists”, that everything about us is against women.  FPA’s response is simply “read our platform.”  Is there anything there about hatred for or subjugation of women?  FPA leadership are married persons.  None of our wives are kept in a cage, trained with whips or kept in the kitchen.  Neither are our husbands.  We do always seek the best performer, the most qualified for any job, but that isn’t for the law to determine.  That’s for an employer to determine in his or her sole judgment.  No one serious about success in business wants less-qualified persons on the payroll.

Not (LOL!) Hitler/Nazis

The Establishment’s media people may very likely claim that we are “Hitler” or “Nazis”.  (This follows “racist” as their favorite unfounded slur.)  They’ll have televised “shows” hosted by “personalities” who we are supposed to believe are uniquely qualified to know these things, especially where no evidence exists.  Of course, any such allegation is patently absurd!  How can a political party which seeks less government control of the individual be accused of being one which seeks total control?  FPA espouses policy goals which seek to keep the individual as free of the government’s control as possible.  Hitler, Nazis, communists, dictators, kings are all about total control of individuals with massive, invasive, spying government and secret police, not less government.  Those regimes don’t tolerate competing political parties with competing ideas.  FPA cannot be any of those.  We believe in the multi-party system with checks and balances in government.  We are Americans in the traditions of the United States and its founding ideals of personal liberty and limited government.

Bedroom Not An Issue

They will likely also say that we seek to deny LGBT people their rights.  Once again, go to the platform.  That is what FPA is about.  Nothing more or less.  The bedroom is no place for government to be involved.  We do believe in protecting minors from predatory persons of any sexual or gender orientation.

Not White, Black, Asian or any other “Supremacists”

At some point someone will probably claim that we are “white supremacists”.  Again, absurd.  Race does not enter into our politics or our constitution.  We only see “citizens”.  Should someone avow to be a “white supremacist” and also declare that they love the FPA, the FPA has no control over that.  If you had a restaurant and “white supremacists” stopped there to eat, would that mean that, as the owner, you were also a “white supremacist”?

The FPA is not responsible for persons or groups who claim to favor us or our candidates.  We are only responsible for our platform and the conduct of our candidates in office.  Thus, if the press should broadcast that known racists, homophobes, misogynists, Nazi lovers and etc. vote for and/or support the FPA, we have no control over that.  Once again, look at our platform:  That’s what we support, along with the US Constitution and nothing more.

HATE

Let’s not overlook another favorite of those who would divide us, “hate”.  FPA is not about “hate” in any way, other than our determination to prevent tyranny from gaining a solid foothold in the United States of America.  Simply defined, “tyranny” means that as a citizen, your choices consist only of those given to you by an authority which dominates and over which you have no control.  There’s no need to explain it in its extreme forms.  We all know how that manifests itself, usually when people choose outside the prescribed “choices”.

No Labels.  Our Only Label Is Our Platform

The press will certainly describe FPA members as “ultra-right wing”, “extreme” or “extremists”.  Think about it: what do those terms even mean?  “Right” of … what?  “Left”?  The silliness of “right”, “left” or “middle” are not a reasonable way to conduct a political discussion because the terms are entirely relative to whoever is talking.  Such terms fail to describe what such views mean for people, which is what politics is about: “what do your views mean for me?”  Yet, to use such terms is convenient when the aim is to cloud the discussion rather than shed accurate light on it.  Again…go to our platform.  That is who we are.  That is what we mean for people.  Our platform and the US Constitution are what FPA stands for.  Is the constitution “extreme”?  Is personal freedom “extreme”?  Are equality under the law and the rule of law “extreme”?

Wary of Personal Destruction by Opposition Forces

We’ve seen how the Establishment and their media/deep state allies, many years after the alleged fact, suddenly produce “rape victims” and alleged victims of other sexual indiscretions of political figures with whom they disagree.  We know that it is also very possible for elite IT persons to hack and plant “kiddie porn” on the computers of prominent politicians and other government figures in order to control them with the threat of exposure and jail.

You’ve seen it all before from the politicians, their media and deep state operatives: words taken out of context; wild exaggeration; stark omissions of important aspects of a question or an event; outright lies and fabrications.  The media have become in-your-face propagandists for the Establishment.  We will always respond to their attacks by saying “read our platform”.  That is what we are about.  Nothing more.

  1. The concept of your organization is the crux of the problem in this nation.
I’ve been, since my entry into this political genre – what does one call it, this current mess, insanity – that the simple observation of George Orwell, of ‘1984’ and ‘Animal Farm’ on the use of the definition of words. His conclusion, that if you control the meaning of words, you control the language, and if you control the language, you control man’s thoughts – for all of man’s thinking is based on his use of language – and as such control the man, the people and the citizens.
One thing that strikes me is the misuse of the terms ‘LIBERTY’ and FREEDOM.’ Liberty is an enumerated right, from our creator – that all men – at birth have. Freedom is not so simple, and is something that can only be measured in the negative. Complete freedom exist only when there are no means to reduce the free choice of an individual. Impossible as the free choice of some, may be at the expense of others, thus taking away their protection of their liberty, by reducing their freedom.
Yet as a social animal, or society, whatever one wishes to identify our population as, we create rules, of laws, to protect all – in the attempt to preserve the liberty of all men. We can confirm this in the Declaration of Independence, which spells out the role of why men make government.
Here is the dichotomy that is hard to make sense. To use representative government – the cause of the problem – as the agent, to preserve the individual liberty of man, is in even the presentation a concept that in itself has its own sort of bigotry. This problem was identified long, long ago.
The error that was considered in the Declaration of Independence was to declare that all men are created equal. They didn’t explain how this was to be applied, one of the many errors – but even at that, the best any society of man has ever came up with – is that they didn’t identify, that in the judicial considerations of the Court, it must apply to all equal. Look at the absolute incomprehensible decrees that dismiss this enumeration, it is the majority. The other error, implied, but now people are so damn dumb they don’t understand applied – was that in all legislation and laws, all men must be considered to preserve, all are treated equal. Today we have the Library of Congress, where you cannot find one piece of legislation that complies with this enumeration.
How you preserve this nation, is something I’ve wasted, many, many hours attempting to find a solution. The only answer I’ve found, is start bringing up every damn law we have, and if they don’t apply to all men, who are citizens preserving they’re equal. Then declare the law null and void. Then perhaps a starting point would be possible.

    • Danishort I completely agree with your statement that —at this point—we have so many contradictory and unconstitutional laws—that do promote bigotry, such as minority quotas—that we need to start from today and go backward, and declare law after law after law null and void. We are in a mess, and it came from social justice, and it came from trying to equalize outcomes when it is equal opportunity that gives us the constitutional liberties that we should all have.

  2. Jeff, this initiative sounds interesting and promising. I’m interested in more information. We really are in need of returning to the basic premise of our founding fathers.

  4. Our votes as citizens are being diluted by campaign money and influence from non-voting entities such as businesses, trade unions, foreign governments, local governments, and political action groups. This must end! It is the rights of the citizen (all citizens, equally) that are protected by the Constitution, not the rights of any limited group of people or special interest. I am in favor of laws that limit campaign contributions to only those from individual, legal US citizen, registered voters. Do this, and nearly all of the other ills that plague us will fade away.

    What say you, Freedom Party?

  8. Read Washingtons’ farewell speech, 1797. The two primary warnings were against political parties and foreign treaties. Annihilate both and that is what will assure “indivdual” political power.
